THE KINGSTON AMATEUR RADIO CLUB, INC.

MISSION STATEMENT


1. To hold club meetings for the social, business, educational and promotional advancement of the Amateur Radio Service; for the disbursement of general information, technical information and the promotion of all aspects of Amateur Radio.

2. To own, operate and maintain auto-repeaters for the use of the Amateur Radio community.

3. To promote social aspects of the Club - i.e., the Christmas party, Field Day, fox hunts, fleamarkets, and any other social activities which may arise.

4. To be prepared, when the need arises, to assist with the supply of Amateur emergency communications to organizations requesting such assistance.


OBJECTIVES OF THE KINGSTON AMATEUR RADIO CLUB, INC.

A) Promoting and advancing amateur radio in the community

B) Provide education and training in basic electronics and radio theory to interested individuals

C) Provide Pro-bono radio communication services for the community and special events

D) Operate and maintain amateur radio repeater station(s)

As stated in the articles of incorporation.
