PICTURE PACKET Updated 11 September 2004, 0200 UTC |

Send and Receive Pictures on Packet Radio. How you say? What do I need and how much is it going to cost? Well if your already on packet radio that is half the battle, and a colour vga monitor would also do. You need is the software, a terminal packet program for sending
and receiving the pictures. The DOS version is MFJXFER, part number MFJ-1288. The Windows95 version is called Picture Packet written by Stan Huntting KW7KW, also writer of Kawin packet program. His web site is http://www.huntting.com/picturepacket/ This is a great terminal program and well written, its compatible with Kantronics and TNC-2. You can download the light version, a full working terminal packet program or ask me for a copy. But you can only RECEIVE pictures, to transmit them you need to register it to your call for 29 US dollars. To see if this is all worth doing you can set up a day and time with me on packet and I will send pictures to you. Why do you ask?
