in car repeater (if you hear this, it's a local event.)

OPP - You need the 107.2 CTCSS on the base frequencies to avoid theconstant computer noise. If you do not have ctcss, program the car frequency,
then the corresponding base frequency and lock out the base. When you hear
the car go to the base frequency manually and you will here the traffic. This will
then not lock up your scanner with noise. Program in all the area frequencies
for the locale you wish as they switch around. Simplex and Incar repeater do
not require ctcss.
