There are many modes of operation available to the Amateur Operator. Most of
the Public know that we have point to point communications using our 2 metre
handhelds and mobiles and that we are capable of working around the world using
the High Frequency (HF) bands. However, the public and many Amateurs are not
aware of all the frequencies and modes of communication available to us.
This page will try to give a brief description of the many modes
and give samples of the sound of those signals.
