Two stations were set up inside the Museum and one was set up outside using a G5RV. In the pictures below you can see the feedline of the G5RV for the outside station.and the front log periodic antenna was the one used on 20m inside. The outside station was set up with the ARES tent and the KARC HF transceiver.
While taking a break after setting up, we were inside the Museum when we could hear thunder! Looking outside all you could see was high winds and a downpour of water. When we went outside the tent was flattened as shown in the pictures below. Fortunately, the lid on the Club's HF/VHF radio suitcase had been lowered prior to going inside. The tent was put back up and the water you see on the case lid and table wiped away and we were ready for the contest again.
CFB Kingston was scheduled for a power outage for most of the day so arrangements were made with the Reserve EW squadron for a loan of a 10kw generator to supply power during the outage.

Don, VE3MNE ran a station from his cottage in Hay Bay, and there was an ATV/trailer/ generator Field Day station running in the Yarker area by Alex, VE3LEG and Nate, VA3WDH.. As information and pictures becomne available, they will be posted here.
