Big ice storm which took out power in parts of Kingston including repeater which was off air Jan 10 TO 17TH approx, due to power lines down in McAdoos lane. Used 146.520 for emergency communications around town. Storm covered from Odessa east and north to Perth, Ottawa, Montreal with thousands of homes without power for up to 4 weeks. |

13 April 98 | Old Maggiore repeater ready for use - tested OK. Output 18W At QTH of VE3NB with 2m duplexer. Sale of 70 cm (440 MHz) to VE1- Alex of Sydney, cancelled $250 returned by cheque. 70 cm (440 MHz) repeater & duplexer now ayt QTH of VE3UDO. Working OK, still VE3KER | |
