June 27/94 Put copper ground straps on duplexer, band pass filter and grounded receiver and pre-amp. Put ferrite beads on all leads into RX, TX and pre-amp. Did not change squelch control setting. Found loose ground lead from Temp sensor block - so grounded it.? Repeater off air 0930 to 11:15. B.H. Burdsall

28 June 1300 hrs - removed pre amp signals lowed on limiter current meter ('E' on RX)/ Some noise comes in at times & makes limiter current increase - Does it come in from RX from our TX? Bernard
VE3NB
29 June 1000 hrs Limiter current 3 uA idling with TX ON it goes to 30 uA. Terminated duplexer output with 50W load & trouble still there. Terminated TX output with 50W load & no increase in limiter current with TX on. Power out of duplexer 20 Watts - small reflected power. Trouble definality in TX. No increase in receive limiter current from other sources. Back on 1045 hrs. Bernard

4 July 94 100 hrs  Adjusted xmtr exciter drive to keep RCVR Limiter currnt below 6 uA when transmitter is on (no signal). Reattached emegency power (KARC paid for install in 1975) Preamp NOT Useful VE3NB

5 July 94 1624 Adjusted squelch. was too loose. checked & Adjusted using VE3JSN in Centreville. VE3NFK
9 July 94 9:50 AM - repeater dead. power supply very hot - no power out with load. removed for service. rest of system unknown condition. MAJOR Lightning Storm night of 8-9 July. Fuse on supply didn't blow. VE3NFK
10 July 94 10:35 - 11:12 - put old VE3KER in service. - controller draws 3 Amps - probably Blown as well. Pwr supply has 3 transistors 2N3227 Blown. Must replace all 6. Regulation circuit defective. VE3NFK

11 July 94 1.30 PM Antenna SWR 2.5:1. (5 watts output) Put terminator on output of Sinclair band pass filter & desensing noise about 5uA. With antenna as terminator. it is above 25UA. due to poor termination of antenna allowing loop around of TX sig in duplexer. There is up to .4 watts of RX coming in on the antenna from outside sources at times. Bernard
VE3NB
16 July 94 0930 checked antenna and duplexer & OK. Trouble appears to be random noise picked up from other services. Tightened all connectors. 2 watts in! John

7 Aug 1030 Put regular standby back (with no ID) as old standby gets noise & intermod from packet & other sigs) Bernard
6 Sept 94 Brought ID VE3KER/VE3TKO unit from home & put on reptr operates every 2 mins 50 secs Bernard
26 Sept 94 930A Tightened AF input jack on TX and replaced RX antenna jack from BNC to Type N. RPTR back on air 1015 am VE3NB
